Family Fitness Fun

Join your community members in our structured walk/run program.

Participants will be grouped together with those who are of similar speed as assessed during a pacer test and with similar goals to increase speed and endurance. This is programming not unlike the popular Couch to 5k, and therefore the workouts are arranged each week with increased push times. We do not have a goal distance or set time as we know that everyone is starting with different health and goals.

We are encouraging families to get involved and hold each other accountable for getting the work done and getting the most out of the program!

Participants do not need to be part of the Lacrosse program as we believe that rising tides lift all boats... so feel free to invite a friend or 3 to sign up too!

Ages

Age 5-99 (younger sibling can ride along with parents in strollers if needed).

When

Group training is on Wednesday evenings from Oct 8, 2025, until Dec 18, 2025, from 530pm-630pm.

There are also weekly workouts to be done at home outside of our meetings.

Where

Meeting in the Griswold High School parking lot and will be walking/running within their lit paths across campus.

T-shirts

Program t-shirts will be handed out during the 2nd or 3rd week of programming.
