Financial Assistance
The Norwich Youth Lacrosse Association's Financial Assistance Program has been developed to assist families who demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
The goal of the Norwich Youth Lacrosse Program is to allow every eligible player to participate in our league regardless of household financial conditions. The NYLA Financial Assistance Program has been developed to assist families who demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
Who Qualifies?
The NYLA Financial Assistance Program is open to any youth who qualifies for registration in the Norwich Youth Lacrosse Association whose parent/guardian has submitted an application along with proper documentation.
What it covers:
Financial Assistance covers the full or partial registration fee of Norwich Youth Lacrosse Association.
*All other fees, uniforms, transportation, or other supplies needed for participation are the responsibility of the player/parent unless otherwise noted.
Reduced Registration Fee:
Winter Program: $15 (reduced from $75)
Spring Season: $65.00 (reduced from $175)
Full Scholarship Award:
Winter Program: Fee of $75 waived
Spring Season: Fee of $175 waived
Requirements:
--Completed Application and Alternative Household Income Form. Request forms by emailing Norwichlacrossepresident@gmail.com
Application Process:
Fill in the required fields on application and Alternative Household Income Form, which also includes attaching the appropriate documentation before submission. Once the application has been submitted, your request will be brought to the next scheduled board meeting, at which point your application will be examined for approval. If your submission is approved, you will receive an email with a coupon code. You will be prompted for this code during the registration process. A separate form is required for each player.
Equipment Rental
The application for equipment rental can be emailed to you. Please send a request for application to Norwichlacrossepresident@gmail.com
Once the application has been submitted, your request will be brought to the next scheduled board meeting, at which point your application will be examined for approval.
Please note that NYLA has limited equipment for youth to borrow on a first come first serve basis. Equipment such as mouth guards, cleats, and protective cup are not included in equipment rental. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to return the gear at the end of the regular season in compliance with the terms of the loaner agreement.
