Norwich Youth Lacrosse Association is a non-profit youth sports organization dedicated to teaching and growing the game of lacrosse in the Norwich, CT area in a safe and fun environment while emphasizing individual and skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork and respect. Honoring these principles gives youth in our program a positive, character-building experience through the game of lacrosse.

Registrations For 2020 Are Now Open
We are happy to announce that registrations for both the 2020 Winter...

We currently do not have any coaches identified for the Boys U12 team (5th/6th Grade) or Girls U10 (3rd and 4th Grade). It is critical that we get this position filled as soon as possible. Past coaching or lacrosse experience is not required as the NYLA board and all of our other coaches are committed to ensuring you will have the tools and training needed to succeed.

Registrations For 2020 Are Now Open

We are happy to announce that registrations for both the 2020 Winter Clinic and the Spring Season are now open. Information on both can be found below. If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact Registrar/Webmaster Brian Lively at  .


Winter Clinic

The boys and girls winter clinic program will again take place indoors at Summit Fitness in February 2020. It will run for six Sunday mornings beginning on February 2nd.

The winter session is a teaching clinic for both new and experienced players. The clinic includes fundamental skill work and position specific training. We will also play in small sided scrimmage situations and teach higher level team concepts.

Registration is open now and will continue until the program fills. Due to space restrictions, there is a limited number of openings for each age group.

Winter Clinic Fees: $60.00 plus a current US Lacrosse membership ($30)

When: Sundays, February 2nd through March 8th.

Time slots and age groups are based on the 2019/20 school year

Girls grades 5 - 8 (U12/U14) 8:00 to 9:00AM

Girls grades 1- 4 (U8/U10) 9:00 to 10:00AM

Boys grades 1 - 4 (U8/U10) 9:00 to 10:00AM

Boys grades 5 - 6 (U12) 10:00 to 11:00PM

Boys grades 7 - 8 (U14) 11:00 to 12:00PM

Spring Season

Spring Season Registrations are also open at this time. The registration fee is $90 and a US Lacrosse membership ($30) valid for the duration of the season is required. The registration deadline for 2019 is February 21st. All registrations completed or payments made after this date will incur a $50 late fee.

Uniforms for the spring season are a separate cost from the registration fee and are required for all U10, U12, and U14 players. The girl's mandatory uniform includes a pinnie and shorts. The boy's mandatory uniform includes a pinnie, shorts, and shooter shirt.

ALL UNIFORM ORDERS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 21st. There will NOT be a second order this season.

Uniforms can be ordered from the Uniform Store on our website. Additionally, samples for sizing will be available at select Winter Clinic dates and during the NYLA Spring Parents Meeting (February).
